Dr. John Andrachuk
Dr. John Andrachuk is a leading Orthopedic Sports Medicine surgeon in Atlanta, with offices in Midtown and Sandy Springs. His practice is based out of Northside Hospital Orthopedic Institute of Sports Medicine.
He completed his orthopedic surgical residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan where he acted as chief resident. While serving as a resident, he completed rotations in musculoskeletal oncology at Memorial Sloan- Kettering, trauma at the Shock Trauma clinic, and pediatric orthopedics at Boston Children’s Hospital. He subsequently held a fellowship with Dr. James Andrews, one of the world’s foremost authorities in sports medicine.
Dr. Andrachuk has acted as physician for leading sports teams including Birmingham Barons, Auburn University, Tuskegee University and the Birmingham Ballet. More recently he provides sports coverage to multiple Atlanta area high schools and is currently the Head Team Orthopedic Surgeon for the Georgia State University football program.
Dr. Andrachuk prides himself on working at the cutting edge of orthopedics, utilizing the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques to help minimize pain and recovery time. He has published a wide range of studies related to sports medicine and surgical treatment of sports injuries and currently serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Knee Surgery and Orthopedics.

Hannah Hartman
Hannah Hartman, OA-C is a board certified physician assistant based in our Midtown and Sandy Springs offices, who assists Dr. Andrachuk in the operating room and focuses on post-op care for sports injuries and total joints. Her specialties include treating and evaluating patients with hip, knee, and shoulder complaints, while also performing a wide range of procedures including joint injections, PRP injections, and joint aspirations.
Building on her previous experience in orthopedic surgery and general adult orthopedics, she will be supporting Dr. Andrachuk in proving coverage to multiple Atlanta area high school sports teams in the fall.
Hannah graduated with honors in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program at Mercer University, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science from the University of Georgia. Hannah Hartman was a student-athlete at Jacksonville University, playing Division I soccer before finishing at UGA.
